Couples & Relationship Counselling
Your Relationship Matters and I Care
Time for Each Other
I am a qualified and experienced Couples and Relationship Counsellor. Relationships can and often do reach difficult stages at certain times in our lives and sometimes it feels like you are growing apart.
This may be due to changes or events, such as a new baby, bereavements, ill health, redundancy, or fertility issues which put a strain on our relationships. It may be that one partner is anxious or depressed and that this is affecting the relationship. You may be trying to restore your relationship following an affair or betrayal and this can be a very upsetting and difficult time - but it is possible to rebuild your trust and confidence in each other and counselling will provide you with a non-judgmental space to explore, with the guidance of an experienced Couples Counsellor, what happened and how you can move forwards.
Maybe you feel you have just become different people. This doesn't necessarily mean that you have to grow apart, it can provide an exciting new perspective on your relationship - one which you can both begin to understand, process, appreciate and value in counselling.
Couples' Counselling can give you both the time, space, respect and meaningful communication that can help you talk openly about your issues, concerns, hopes and dreams and potentially rediscover the qualities, values and characteristics that you have always loved in each other.
Occasionally you may both decide that you want to part and counselling can help you move forwards in a more amicable way, which helps you maintain respect and consideration for each other. This is always important, but especially so when you have children.
My sessions are confidential and flexible at times to suit you both. My fees are £75 per session.
