FEES: I am a Registered and Accredited Member of BACP (MBACP Accred). I am also AXA and AVIVA Approved Counsellor and an Associate Counsellor with the National Police Firearms Officers Association, Police Benevolent Fund and Lancashire Police HQ. I am also a qualified EMDR Practitioner and qualified in Critical Incident Management (CISM).
My Private Practice fees for telephone or video sessions are shown below. I offer a choice of 50 minute session or longer sessions (which are especially suitable for EMDR and Couples' Counselling). Please note that you must ensure privacy on your side for telephone and video counselling.

SUPERVISION SESSIONS: My Private Supervision Fees are £60 per 1.5 hours for video or telephone supervision sessions (for qualified or trainee counsellors/psychotherapists).
EAP and Insurance Fees are invoiced directly with the organisation, except for excess fees which the client is responsible to pay directly to myself.
CONTRACT: After taking your first booking, I will email you a contract. I ask you to complete this and email back to me before your first session begins. This will explain what to expect from Counselling or Counselling Supervision, including confidentiality, session length, contact details, fees and cancellation terms. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you need to, in order to feel happy with the Contract.
FEE PAYMENT: Fees are payable by bank transfer and I ask that these are received by my bank at least 24 hours before each session. Alternatively I can send a link for card payment which must also be received at least 24 hours before each session.
CANCELLATION TERMS: Counselling involves ongoing commitment from both the Client(s) and the Counsellor. We each agree to attend all appointments at the arranged time. If I need to cancel, I will give you as much notice as possible. If you need to cancel, postpone, rearrange or in any way change an appointment for any reason, please let me know at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, in order that I can offer this to another client. We can then rearrange your appointment free of charge. However, if you cancel, postpone, rearrange or otherwise change an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, or in the event of non-attendance with no notice, the full fee for the missed session must be paid in full immediately. The next session cannot take place until this cancellation fee has been paid. I do have to follow my cancellation terms strictly as I have reserved that session solely for you.
DELAYED ARRIVAL: If you arrive late for a session, please understand that it will still need to end at the appointed time, with the full fee payable, as I do have to keep to appointment times for other Clients. Where possible, if I do not have another client directly afterwards, I will always try to ensure you still get a full session as I appreciate that sometimes unexpected traffic delays are unavoidable.

AMEND AN APPOINTMENT: To amend, rearrange, change or cancel an appointment, please ring: 07545 868494, giving at least 48 hours' notice. I cannot accept cancellations by text or email as they may not reach me in time. The full fee is immediately payable if a minimum of 48 hours' notice is not given.
